Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Vinayak earned his Bachelor of Law (Honours) from the University of York in England before returning to Canada, where he was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2026.

Prior to joining the firm, Vinayak completed his articles with Legal Aid Ontario in Kenora, where he gained practical experience in criminal and family law matters throughout Northwestern Ontario. He regularly appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, conducted legal research, negotiated resolutions, and assisted clients throughout the legal process.  His articling experience provided him with a strong foundation in advocacy and client service.

Vinayak understands that navigating the legal system can often feel overwhelming.  He believes in building strong relationships with clients through clear communication, thoughtful advocacy, and practical advice tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Outside the office, Vinayak enjoys playing basketball and has competed and coached at various levels.  He continues to stay involved in the sport by participating in local men’s leagues.  He is also an avid poker player and chess enthusiast, appreciating the discipline, analytical thinking, and strategic decision-making these pursuits require – qualities that also guide his approach to legal practice.

Having established roots in Kenora during his articles, Vinayak is proud to continue serving the community and looks forward to growing his practice while contributing to the continued success of Northwestern Ontario.
